New York City is Amazing!!!

Me and Nicole just got home from our trip to the big Apple.... we had the best trip ever. I can't even begin to describe how amazing that city is. Here are a few of my favorite picts, i will try and make a slide of all of them.

this was my very first subway ride...SCARY!!

TWIligHT... my new favorite movie (which i now have a bootleg copy of) was right in the middle of time square! Perfect
this was our frozen hot chocolate from SERENDIPITY, we waited for over an hour to go in but nothing compared to the four hours a party infront of us had waited... but how can you go to new york and not see what all the fuss is about? it was delicious!!!
this is a veiw of the Brooklyn Bridge from the pedestrian walk way. we walked across and ate the best pizza I've ever had, in Brooklyn. Great idea Sheena!! and as a bonus there was the most beautiful view of the manhattan skyline!
this is the christmas tree at Rockerfeller Center. it is so amazing, and huge!

The first day in NYC we shopped and shopped and switched hotels and shopped and had dinner at a very yummy steak house before going to the CHristmas SpecTacular at Radio City music hall, home of the Rockettes. FUN!!

The second day was equally fun, shopping, i can't get enough! Battery park and off on the Statin Island ferry on a trip past the statue of liberty, so cool in person. we walked our butts of up to wall street, past ground zero, and into china town for more shopping. it was so great to barter with all the chinese ladies and we brought home plenty of handbags! Lunch in little Italy was great and after we made a pitstop at the hotel to drop off our daily purchases we were back to walking... down to Time Square which i couldn't even begin to describe the awsomeness of it! Lights everywhere.. and over to see HAIRSPRAY on broadway. It was soooo funny. we had a blast. I haven't seen the movie so i was surprised with each scene.

On saturday we started the shopping day early at century 21, over to Bryant park for shopping at the holiday venders fair, lunch was at a Tai place in soho that had the best mango salad and for a treat we went down to the original Magnolias Bakery..(home of Oprahs favorite cupcake)..definatly a good cupcake, probably not my favorite or worth the hour wait in line, but you have to do it atleast once right?! of course..more shopping back to china town were everything you could possibly want is for sale for a bargain (T&co,Rolex, perfume,Ipods, handbags in all shapes and sizes and brands, scarfs,DVDS(which haven't been released yet), and soo much more..Amazing! we were able to window shop to see all the cute christmas displays and Macys, sacs, bloomingdales etc.. they were so creative and fun to see. then we went to Serendipity for desert, you know like the movie. Home of the frozen Hot chocolate, and the biggest sundae I have ever seen!! It was such a cute little shop with one heck of a wait, but i am so glad we waited I loved it!

On Sunday we walked throuh Central Park on our way to brunch at Sarahbeths (home of Oprahs favorite jams) and they were excellent. we shopped and FAO Schwartz toy store and found the cutest toys and dolls... a childs heaven. window shopped some more and for dinner we headed to Brooklyn. the walk across the BrOOklyn Bridge was so much fun, this was probably my favorite thing we did the entire time! It was so incredible to see the entire skyline in one shot (uptown, midtown, and downtown) and the pizza in Brooklyn was to die for!!
monday we summed up the last minute shopping, back to the places we loved and then back home:( I was very ready to go home. we did everything i could imagine doing in NYC and yet I was so sad to leave, I think I could maybe get used to that life style... but then again i don't know. we are so spoiled here, everyone is nice here and it's not FREEZING!

I had the best time, thanks nicole for wanting to go and thank you to sheena our amazing tour guide! you made it wonderful.

Festival of Lights

We went to the light parade with our friends Nicole, Ricky, Shae, Justin, Trisha & Carter. the kids were all bundled up but it was alot of fun!! I'm not sure how Janson likes the sirens yet though. We ran into all our friends at the parade and had a great night!

ThankSgiving...

so things around here have been a little more crazy than usual so we are so slow. here is the update. Jansons FIRsT Thanksgiving was a success!!! I think he had a great time although he probably had no idea the day was unlike everyother day. we were able to go to my grandmas for lunch and dads for dinner! It was so much fun sharing a special day with so many of our friends and family.

Janson has mastered the stairs so its hard to keep a hold of him... I'm just nervous about going back down.
dad found an old elmo doll while cleaning out his closet...it was taken from kenzie and mason a hundred years ago and Janson LOvEd it. he just couldn't get enough and it was the cutest thing to watch Janson and elmo dance together... He loves grandpa !!!!!
